Our Metro Washington DC community has been impacted by the Covid19 Pandemic.  At Lindsay Volvo Cars of Alexandria, our entire, team is thankful to all that have served on the front lines, yet our hearts are saddened by the global loss of life.  Together, we have this "new normal" and together we will get thru it.  This page will highlight some of the changes to our business.

Volvo Cars has always had a stellar reputation for safety.  We have carried that same commitment into our business at Lindsay Volvo Cars of Alexandria as our business has gone thru the various phases of re-opening under Governor Northam's "Forward Virginia" plan.

Besides the normal car buying questions, such as "Is this a good car deal"; "what is the best price"; "how much inventory does this dealer have?"; "do they have good google reviews"?  Now customers are faced with asking.  "am I comfortable to do business here?"; what are their Covid19 protocols? and "is it safe?"

We have been open and transparent in our Covid19 protocols from the beginning.  Always following the guidelines of the CDC and that of our State.  We have adjusted our processes to keep everyone safe and better meet the needs of you, our customer.  Do you want to buy at home?  We can do that!  Do you want to test drive at home, but complete your paperwork in the dealership?  We can do that!  Want to test drive at our dealership and then complete the transaction at home?  We got it.

We also offer Volvo Valet, or as we like to say, convenience delivered.  Allow us to pick up your vehicle, leave you with a loaner vehicle, service your Volvo Car and then return it all without Contact at your convenience.  If you prefer to visit the dealership, we have removed community food, but offer self- serve canned soft drinks and a sanitized, socially distanced; mask wearing, open door environment.

Our salesman, Ted Glover, was very easy to work with. He did not pressure us, rather was calm and professional, honest and accommodating, and delivered on everything we asked for. He allowed for very limited contact during the entire process; I test drove the car alone after he wiped it down, all face to face interaction was minimal and short and everyone wore masks and gloves, and the rest of the deal happened via phone and zoom from the safety of our home. He delivered the car to us and picked up our old car from our driveway. We got a great deal and felt very well taken care of. I will recommend Ted Glover and Lindsay Volvo to anyone who asks.
